MotionForge Privacy Policy

Scope and contact

This policy applies only to the MotionForge Android app, package app.freeaimedia.motionforge, including version 0.3.1 with ads and a one-time ad-removal purchase. It does not cover other FreeAIMedia apps or automatically apply to this website. The operator is Petr Pikora / PetrPikora.com. For privacy questions and requests, contact info@freeaimedia.com.

Your videos stay on your device

Importing, recording, previews, effects and exports run on your device. MotionForge does not upload your videos, audio, frames or person masks to our servers or advertising services. Importing creates a private video copy, thumbnails and a project containing edit settings. Your original is unchanged. The app has no MotionForge user accounts or cloud storage. Automatic app-data backup is disabled.

Person masks and permissions

Motion Echo uses an on-device MediaPipe model to separate a person’s silhouette from the background. It does not identify people, recognize faces or create biometric profiles. Temporary masks are stored in private cache. Camera access is needed only for recording; microphone access is optional. Import uses the system video picker, not access to your entire library. Notifications show export progress. You can change permissions in Android settings.

Age group

On first launch of version 0.3.1 or later, you select an age group: under 13, 13–17, or 18 and older. The group and selection time are stored only in private storage on this device; we do not transmit them. We do not ask for your date of birth. Until an age group is selected, and for all users under 18, the app does not request advertising consent, initialize the advertising SDK or load ads. It does not offer these users the ad-removal purchase. For minors, it asks again on a new app launch after one year; it never automatically changes their group to adult.

Advertising and advertising data

The free version for adults includes Google AdMob banners. The advertising SDK may send Google and advertising partners your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device/account identifiers, interactions and diagnostics. These support advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. The SDK may also process an App Set ID for analytics and anti-fraud checks. MotionForge does not use this identifier to personalize or measure ads, or link it with advertising identifiers or personal data for advertising. SDK transfers use TLS. Consent and your choices

The app uses Google User Messaging Platform to obtain required privacy choices. Ads load only when the platform allows it according to those choices. Settings offers Ad privacy choices when required by Google, where you can change choices or withdraw consent. Declining personalization may still allow limited ads and related processing. In supported regions, including certain US states, the form may also offer a “Don’t sell or share my data” choice. Available options depend on your region. One-time ad-removal purchase

A Google Play purchase permanently removes in-app ads without a subscription. The Czech price is CZK 499; Google Play displays the binding price and any local-currency conversion before you confirm. Google processes payment and payment details; MotionForge does not receive your card number. The app receives purchase information (product, status, token, signed receipt and an order ID when available), verifies the signature and keeps the receipt in private storage for offline use. Restore purchases with the same Google Play account. The app checks ownership when returning to the foreground and may revoke the entitlement after a refund or revocation. Pending payment does not activate the purchase. Once activated, banners are removed and further ad requests stop; this does not erase data processed previously.

Sharing, retention and deletion

Projects, private copies of source videos and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or clear app data. Videos saved to the device appear in Movies/MotionForge. Sharing occurs only when you request it, through an app you select. Deleting a project removes its edits and private source copy if no other project uses it. Originals and saved exports remain; remove them through your gallery or file manager. Clear app storage or uninstall to delete private app data, including preferences and the cached receipt. This does not cancel the purchase held by Google Play. The app periodically cleans temporary working files. Google-held data follows Google’s retention policies and deletion tools.

Purposes, recipients and international processing

Local video editing and purchase verification provide the functions you request. Processing necessary to supply the purchase is based on performance of a contract; required accounting records are retained under legal obligations. We handle support messages in our legitimate interest in resolving requests and protecting the service. Where advertising processing requires consent, we request it through Google’s form. Advertising and payment recipients include Google and the partners identified in those services and forms. Google may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA; its privacy policy describes legal grounds, recipients and transfer safeguards.

Rights and contacting support

Under applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email info@freeaimedia.com. We cannot remotely access your local videos. Requests about Google accounts and data can also be made directly to Google. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection. We retain support messages only as needed to resolve your request or meet legal obligations. Do not send passwords or payment details.

Children and policy changes

MotionForge is a general-purpose video editor and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us with personal information. When data practices change, we will update this page and its date. Other apps have their own policies in the privacy center.
