ShotMatch Privacy Policy

Updated 30 October 2026

Scope and contact

This policy applies to the Android app ShotMatch (app.shotmatch.freeaimedia), part of FreeAIMedia.app. The operator is Petr Pikora / PetrPikora.com. For privacy questions and requests, contact petr.pikora@petrpikora.com.

Your photos and videos

You select media and an export folder through Android's system picker. Analysis, color matching, previews and exports run on your device. ShotMatch does not upload your photos or videos to our servers, advertising services or a remote AI service. It keeps source references, adjustments, analysis and previews in a local editing session. Original media are not overwritten. A storage provider you choose may have its own cloud synchronization and privacy policy.

Local storage and permissions

ShotMatch requests access to selected documents and folders, not your entire media library. It does not request camera, microphone or precise-location permission. A foreground service and optional notifications show user-initiated export progress. Private data can include preferences, a saved editing session, practice media, previews, temporary export files and a purchase receipt. Android cloud backup and device transfer of app-private data are disabled.

Advertising and age

The free version uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). ShotMatch is intended for users aged 13 and over and does not collect a date of birth. From version 0.2.1, all users receive the stricter under-age-of-consent advertising treatment, including adults. The app requests G-rated ads, disables personalized advertising and remarketing through Google's age-restricted SDK setting, and separately sets UMP's under-age-of-consent flag. Google states that the Android advertising ID is not transmitted under this setting. UMP suppresses consent requests with this flag. Earlier internal test builds used regional UMP consent handling instead.

Data processed by Google

Restricted advertising does not mean that no data are processed. The advertising SDK can collect and share IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app/ad interactions, diagnostic information and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK transmissions use TLS encryption. ShotMatch does not operate a separate analytics service or media server. Google and its advertising partners handle SDK data according to their policies. See https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .

Lifetime purchase

A voluntary one-time Google Play purchase removes advertisements, enables up to 4K export on compatible devices and lets you turn off the export watermark. There is no subscription. Google Play shows the binding price before confirmation and handles payment and your Google account. ShotMatch never receives your card number. It receives the product, purchase status, token, signed receipt and an order ID when available. The app verifies the receipt locally, keeps it in private storage for offline access and communicates with Google Play to acknowledge, restore and reconcile purchases. These data support app functionality and fraud prevention. A pending payment does not unlock paid features. A refund or revocation can remove access when Play returns the updated status.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Clear app storage or uninstall ShotMatch to remove its private editing data, preferences and cached receipt. This does not cancel your Google Play purchase. Original media and completed exports in your chosen folder remain until you delete them using that storage provider. The app cleans up temporary working files; completed exports are retained when an export is cancelled. A verified lifetime purchase stops future ad requests and displays, but does not erase data previously processed by Google. Privacy choices are available in Settings when UMP requires them. Android also provides advertising-ID controls. Google manages its own retention and deletion tools at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy . ShotMatch has no separate app account or developer-held remote media to delete.

Support and your rights

If you email us, we use your message and contact information to respond and handle your request, retaining them only as necessary for that purpose or applicable legal obligations. Do not send passwords or unnecessary private media. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Send requests concerning data we hold to petr.pikora@petrpikora.com. You may complain to your supervisory authority, including the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection at https://uoou.gov.cz/ . Google handles requests concerning records it controls under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy .

Changes

We update this policy when the app's data practices change. The date above identifies this version. The same notice is available inside ShotMatch without an internet connection, in English and Czech.
